A Message from the Hopkins Parents Council Chairs...

We are delighted to welcome you as an important member of the Hopkins family!  The Parents Programs and Hopkins Parents Council are here to partner with you on your extraordinary journey as a parent of a Hopkins student. From Move-in Day through Commencement, you will watch your Blue Jay cultivate a capacity for life-long learning and develop into an independent adult - ready to take on the world.

Parent involvement is highly valued at Johns Hopkins, and we encourage you to fully integrate into the university community to enrich your Hopkins experience by:

  • Volunteering on campus and/or at home
  • Supporting your student's campus and out-of-classroom experiences
  • Reading JHU publications to keep current on Hopkins news
  • Attending JHU on-campus and regional events and programs

As parents of a rising junior, we have been gratified to share our time and resources to benefit Hopkins students in a very direct way.  We share a common interest: Enhancing the Student Life Undergraduate Experience for our daughters and sons.   Thank you for your enthusiastic support and participation, and we look forward to meeting you.
