A Message from the Hopkins Parents Council Chairs...

We are honored and delighted to lead the parent volunteer and support efforts for Johns Hopkins University.  Whether you are new parents of the Class of 2019 or, like us are veterans who find it hard to fathom our Hopkins student is now a senior, we want you to know that parents are highly valued and are important members of the Hopkins family!

The Parents Programs and Hopkins Parents Council are here to partner with you on your family's extraordinary journey.  We encourage you to fully integrate into the university community; parents who "jump in" create and enrich their own Hopkins experience.  We suggest:

  • Volunteering on campus and/or at home
  • Supporting your student's campus and out-of-classroom experiences
  • Reading JHU publications to keep current on Hopkins news
  • Attending JHU on-campus and regional events and programs

As parents we share a common interest of wanting the best undergraduate experience for our daughters and sons.  Your enthusiastic support and participation will help ensure that happens.

We look forward to meeting you and working beside you.

Connie and Steve Keim P'16
Chairs, Hopkins Parents Council
