• Class of 2012 parents, the big day is just around the corner!  Commencement 2012 is on Thursday, May 24, 2012.  The deadline for ordering regalia is April 13, 2012.
• Record numbers of students Rushing to join the Greek System!  Read all about Greek Life at JHU.
• Planning ahead for moving your student out of the dorms?  Need storage over the summer?  Check out Hopkins Student Movers--a student enterprise buisness located at Homewood. 
• Congratulations to all students who made the Dean's List for the Fall Semester!  Job well done!  If you haven't already done so, please complete the Community Information Form so that our Communications Office can send your student's stellar accomplishment to your hometown newspaper for publication.
• WELCOME! to the newest members of the Hopkins family!  Congratulations to the Class of 2016 early decision students and families.  First Step, fill in the Family Information Form.  Also, be sure to mark your calendars for Move-In, taking place on Wednesday, August 29 and Thursday, August 30.  Students will receive more detailed information directly from the Orientation office in the beginning of the summer.
• Announcing FAMILY WEEKEND 2012, Friday, October 19-Sunday, October 21--mark your calendars now and plan to join us for the weekend! Specific details will be provided when available.

• Parents Advising Handbook   From Move-in through Commencement, a helpful guide for all parents to navigate the incredible range of resources available for your Hopkins student.   
• The new and improved Blue Jay Shuttle is up and running, transporting students around campus and the surrounding neighborhoods.  Students can check when the next bus is coming from an AP on their smartphone or view the map provided by Parking and Transportation. 
• Know how to speak Blue Jay? Now that you have a Blue Jay living with you, you’ll need a reference list of a few Johns Hopkins-specific terms to help translate some of the things they say to you.
